This is a 0.91” (128 x 32) OLED module with a high-contrast monochrome display and a built in backlight. The display has a built in SSD1306 driver which handles all the RAM buffering, so that very little work needs to be done by your microcontroller. This 15 pin version uses SPI to communicate with your microcontroller.
The SSD1306 is a very popular driver and a lot of resources can be found online on how to drive it using different micronontrollers. It is a great starting point for anyone trying to add a graphics display to their next project. The display uses a FPC connector which requires soldering directly to your PCB.
