This is a 0.96” (128 x64) OLED module with a high-contrast monochrome display and a built in backlight. The display has a built in SSD1306 driver which handles all the RAM buffering, so that very little work needs to be done by your microcontroller. This display has an SPI as well as a I2C interface which can be configured using the BS0-BS2 pins.
The SSD1306 is a very popular driver and a lot of resources can be found online on how to drive it using different micronontrollers. It is a great starting point for anyone trying to add a graphics display to their next project. The display uses a FPC connector which requires soldering directly to your PCB.
