This is a 1.5” (128 x 128) OLED module with a high-contrast 16-bit color display and a built in backlight. The display has a built in SSD1351 driver which handles all the RAM buffering, so that very little work needs to be done by your microcontroller. This display has an SPI as well as a 8-bit parallel interface which can be configured using the BS0 and BS1 pins.
The SSD1351 is a very popular driver and a lot of resources can be found online on how to drive it using different micronontrollers. It is a great starting point for anyone trying to add some color to their next project. The display also uses a 30 pin FFC connector so there is no messy FPC-Soldering required.
