Description:
This is a basic 5V USB to Serial converter, based on the FTDI IC. These are ment to be used with the Arduino Pro Mini for programming and interfacing to a computer but can also be used anywhere a serial link to a computer is required.
This board brings out only the 6 essential pins (DTR, RXI, TXO, VCC, CTS, GND) from the FTDI IC. There is also a small jumper on the back which allow the board to supply
5V (default) or 3.3V out of the Vcc line.
They also have blue and green communication LED instead of the standard green and red. The board color might be White or Black depending on what we have in stock at the time of your order.
