This is a development board for the Epaper display from Pervasive Displays. The board contains all the supporting circuitry for the display as well as 16 megabits of flash memory to store some images on the board (about 133 images for the 2.0" display). The board also contains a temperature (MCP9700) sensor to adjust the display settings to match the ambient temperature in the room.
Repaper has provided a suite of example code for Arduino UNO/Leonardo as well as the MSP430 Launchpad and also have a site with some documentation on how to wire up the displays and datasheets. In addition, we have spend a lot of time developing example code for this development board including image converters, examples, and mass storage device demos which you can checkout on our Github page.
