Want more control over your LEDs? Then these are for you!
These guys go above and beyond what previous LEDs have been able to do. Controlled by a single wire, you can change them to literally any color. They can be placed up to 5m apart with no need for extra power. AND they each have their own address; when they are attached together on a bread board, you can tell one to be green while another one further down can be told to be blue. How cool is that?
The addition of a tiny chip inside is what makes these guys so unique and adaptable. The chip is a WS2811 and controls everything about them. They are addressable so you can control each individual LED no matter how many you have connected together. It also allows them to be changed to any color you want with 24-bit color capabilities.
Note: The WS 2811 reads code in the sequence of GRB instead of RGB like the WS2812. Make sure you flip it!
