A servo is a device that combines a two wire DC motor, a gear train, a potentiometer, an integrated circuit, and an output shaft. Each servo has 3 wires from the casing; one for power, one for ground, and the other is a control input line. The AS-470HB is a standard sized analog servo featuring a plastic gear train, a dual ball bearing supported output shaft, durable plastic, and an alloy case. It has a transmit time of 0.12s and 6.21kg/cm of torque.
Servos are commonly used in remote controlled models such as trains, cars, and robots.
